Welcome to my ramblings!

Inspired by the world around me, great writers, an innate sense of wanderlust, and my wild life, after much encouragement from friends and family, I decided to start a blog. The earliest manifestations of this blog are my yearly Christmas letters. They are full of humor, sentiment, honesty, and love.

When it comes to travel, the idea of a travel blog came from a Whatsapp group I created when I traveled to Uganda in late January / early February 2026.

The Uganda Whatsapp group was to keep friends and family informed while I traveled. It grew into a journal where I not only recounted my adventures, but also processed the incredible experience. I used it to document photos, share thoughts, and tell stories.

Enough people have expressed interest in my Christmas letters and the Uganda story that a blog seemed to make sense.
